| Malfunctioning of internal cache is often problems with processors. However, your computer is able to work without it if you turn it off. You could turn the internal cache of your processor off all by yourself, from your BIOS program, or you could ask the professionals at computer service to do that for you. Anyway, you have to know one thing. Turning of the internal cache of your processor will rapidly reduce your computer performance. Therefore, think of that move just as a first aid, until you don't get enough money to buy a new processor. About choosing a new processor, both, P4 and Dual core processors are good. Both of those processor are building in LGA775 version . Personally, I would choose Dual core processor just because it is newer technology. |
