I am a real gaming fun and I am spending couple of hours every day on my computer in playing games. Recently, I come on many games that could not install on my computer because I have only 256MB RAM memory. That is why I bought 2 x 1GB RAM dual channel DDR, but my PC will not post with it. Friend told me that I probably have a problem with memory overclocking? What is that?

If you do not know what is it then you certainly did not have the problem with that. There are other reasons that could cause your problem. First, check the new memory chips in some other computer to see are they good. After that check did you buy right type of RAM memory for your motherboard. Also, check did your motherboard support your RAM memory speed or does it support dual channel memory at all. If all that is ok, then try to unplug old memory and try to post only with a new memory. If that will not help try to post with one new memory chip only. If nothing of this helps then you will have to search for professional help. I hope that you would find this information helpful.
