Can somebody please tell me how are Bcc and Blind Carbon Copy connected to each other? The only thing that’s seems possible to me is that Bcc may be abbreviation of this expression – Blind Carbon Copy, but I am not sure about it. I think I saw Bcc in mails, but never know what it is used for. Many thanks

Good guess girl  You are right, completely - Bcc is abbreviation for Blind Carbon copy, and the origin of the name comes from carbon paper which was originally used for copying, before copy machines were invented. When you send a mail to many recipients , you enter the list of recipients in the bcc field, if you do not want them to know the addresses and names of other recipients. And if you enter them in the Cc field, they will all know who the other recipients are. I thought you will find this explanation useful and that you will be able to use it one day. All the best.
