Hello. I have Intel Core II Duo and one gigabyte of ram on i945 motherboard chipset. I want to make things slightly faster and more ready for the next gen. Core II Quad CPU's, so here I am. Not yet ready to decide is P35 good solution for Vista and Quad for future or I don't actually need that at all. Just more ram perhaps? Thanks so much in advance.

Hello. All I know that 1 gigabyte of ram memory is not enough for Vista. I mean, it will work, but not better than XP with 256 MB. Regarding motherboard chipset you have mentioned, there is no need to think is it going to be more faster or it just won't. Take that motherboard, as you will have much better performance with, in any case. Get one more additional ram memory as well. You won't regret.
