What are languages available for writing client-side scripts? I’m trying to educate myself more in the field of computer programming but I seem to have a certain problems grasping all the information available. So, I have decided to start with the basics and to have everything explained by definitions. I think that is the best way to start learning about something.

I think that you are right and that you should start from the beginning. As far as I know one of the most popular client-side scripting languages are JavaScript and VBScript. I can’t tell you anything about the difference between them because I’m also not very educated in the field and I’m also a beginner. Anyway, I plan to be very persistent and to try to learn everything connected with that. I know that it is very complicated and difficult, but I’d really like to become a programmer some day, and it takes a very hard work. I suggest you to start taking some courses because that is the sure way of learning everything necessary.
