Funny, but I am using the same sound card. The only thing that sits inside new PC build is old Sound Blaster Audigy 4. And it worked quite OK when it was in the old case, but now the left channel seems like without equal signal strength. No matter where I stand, the right side is a little bit louder than the left one. I have hi-fi audio equipment connected to the sound card by the way if that means anything. Thanks in advance.

Hello. What player you are using? I am asking because I had similar issue with Winamp, and merely the same sound card also on the HI-FI. Open control panel and select sound and audio devices. On the main tab, you will see the volume Speaker Volume settings. Click there and make those sliders equal if they aren't. Apply than Ok.
