I think I have installed corrupt video drivers. I am using a bit older Toshiba laptop with Nvidia graphic card. Ever since I updated it, I am only able to see the screen in the safe mode and not on a regular boot too. What shall I do? Any ideas ? many thanks for your help and your recommendations

Well, the only thing I can recommend you is to go to NVidia site, and try to download the right driver from the official site. You should of course remove the driver from the control panel and maybe even removing the device, and then installing the new driver. You should also try one more thing before installing the new driver. You should reset the system, after you have removed the driver and than enter BIOS settings by pressing F8. When in BIOS, choose VGA mode. After the windows has finished reinstalling the card you should turn antivitrus support off, because it can sometimes damage the driver.
