| I am trying to figure out some things about vector graphics. I think I kind of understood what the concept means, and the way it is used in computer graphics. But I think I have heard that it is also used in Macromedia, or something similar. Is it true? And what exactly is it used for? Many thanks for your explanation |

| Hey there. When it comes to computers, especially some of the fields, I am not what you would call an advanced user. I have heard few things here and there about vector graphics, but I did not understand it completely too. As I understood, when you use vector graphics, you use some graphic primitives (curves, lines, points etc.) in order to represent the image. This is used in computer graphics. One of the best known file formats, based on vector graphics is BMP, which can be easily converted into some other formats. I have also heard that Vector graphics is used in macromedia, but I am not sure how. |
