Why do I get the same error messages constantly, when I try to update my Windows over the internet using Automatic Updates? I never did that because I never could. I am receiving "Windows update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page" message. Who knows why? Thanks.

I can see that you can live without it anyway, I mean I can, and because of that you can too. You can see is Automatic Update service turned on inside the services.msc in your run box. I have also informed about some kind of worm that was made to obstruct the WU site, and because of it Microsoft had to change some things on their site. These changes could be the possible guilt for you case. Don't bother your self.
