| You heard right. The companies from producing computer hardware and software branch are loosing a lot of money each year. That is because, on that market, competition is very strong. The easiest way to win in that race is to break anti-monopoly laws. That way other competitors are instantly thrown out of the race. The Microsoft is the leader of that business strategy. Mr. Gates told, a long time ago, that he does not see the penalties for breaking anti-monopoly laws as waste of money. He sees that penalties as investment, because those sum would return ten times bigger when competitor companies dies. Anyway, results of those battles should not always be bad for consumers. Those battles are also accelerating the inventions. That is why Blue Ray as a latest optical disk format will show on the market as soon. Its manufacturer obviously means that Blue Ray will find its place on the market next to HDVD. |
