| Is Adware actually free software? I am not really familiar with all these computer terms, applications and other things I should which I must most definitely learn as soon as possible. I have heard adware and spyware most usually being mentioned together, so I thought for a long time that adware is dangerous. Now I have heard it doesn’t have to be this way, so I could use some closer info about it |

| Well, I really do not know what to tell you. As far as I know, adware is most often used as some kind of advertisement. It is installed on your system during the installation of some other program, most often without your knowledge. The developer of the program you are actually installing often uses adware to reduce costs of development, or to make it cheaper or even free from the future users. Adware can be toolbar for example, or some kind of application that takes you to a website, or something similar. It can be considered spyware when it collects your data. I hope I made it a bit clearer |
