Westel modem/router, changing MAC address

How do I change my MAC address for the Westell 6100 Verizon DSL modem? I am trying to make it function with Linksys WRT54GS router, and sometimes I came to idea that this could be solution for my problems. Do you maybe have idea how to do this? Or have you hear about some issues that appear with this modem?

Hey there. I do not think that this modem is a problem, when working alone, but it is a problem when you try to use it together with Linksys router. I know that a good friend of mine tried to make this combination work, and he just couldn’t. And he is very PC literate. Now; I really do not know what to tell you – it may be a good idea to call the support, both those at Westells and the one in other company.As for changing the MAC address, I know that this friend of mine did try cloning it, but it did not help.
