I don't seem to be able to burn a multisession to any type of RW DVD on the computer I'm currently working on. I've tried DVD+R discs first, but since I was told by Nero that it wasn't the "correct media type", I experimented with some DVD-Rs as well, just in case I had my facts wrong. Same result, no go. Anyone have a clue as to what the problem might be? The media, the drive, the drivers?

First things first, you had your facts spot on the first time, DVD+R disks are the ones that support multisessioning, and DVD-R disks don't. Second, I would probably blame the optical drive in this case. Is it, by any chance, an older Toshiba model maybe? Toshiba's drives were notoriously poor with "+" disks at one time, although that got sorted out eventually.
