Well, because of my fault, I had to buy R-Studio version 4. The complete hard drive has gone with all data on it. That was secondary partition with no more no less, but near 280GB. On the 320 GB hard drive I had two partitions, the one with 40 gigabytes and the other, secondary where all important data was. Partition table was totally killed. All my music, all my movies were gone. Luckily, this program really is worth of every buck. I can chop out even previously deleted files that were in the recycle bin once. But, I am suffering with the lack of space now. And I can't recover the data on the partition from which I am recovering the files. The scan time really ate a lot of my time... I need to do this each time from now on? I am planning to borrow one more hard drive from a friend of mine tomorrow. How to reduce time needed for all of this? Thanks in advance.

Depending on your PC configuration, the time needed for the scan will vary. In order to avoid second time scan with R-Studio, when scan is complete, just right click on the scanned partition from the left side and select save scan information. This will make a 50mb file with complete partition structure, so you can nicely just load the info for the next time and continue where you stopped. Note that if you install anything on the drive in the meantime, you will need to scan entire partition again.
