| I have been using the internet for last two years and everything worked fine. However, since few months ago, I could not defend from viruses, especially Trojans. I even reinstalled my Win XP once but it did not help me any longer. After a day or two on the Internet and I have the same problems. Since yesterday, I start using Opera. Now I have problems with Opera plugin overload and slow start. I am disappointed w/Opera. Should I go back to IE? What should I do? |

| There are other browsers beside the Internet explorer. Opera is definitely one of the most popular browsers on the net. Firefox is even more popular. Many users think that they are better then Explorer. I do not think that your problems are related to using Explorer. As you could see by yourself, other browsers are also not immune to problems. Opera also has its problems like yours with plugin overload. I am also spending much time on the Internet, I am using Explorer, and I do not have any problems. That my opinion is right shows that first place as the most popular internet browser goes to Internet explorer. You just need some reliable anti-spyware software like SpyBot, which is efficient and free. You also need some good anti-virus software, which is efficient and free. I personally use AVG Free and I am completely satisfied. If you have XP for your OS, you will also need SP 2 to be installed. |
