| A friend has helped me make a small private network out of my computer and my kids computers. Now, my kids and I are able to share our files, and they can use the internet too. But I am worried now about the privacy of my data, and I am wondering what to do to secure my files from their access. The kids see all my partition, they can even delete anything they want |

| Whoever made that network for you wasn’t really in the good mental shape. I mean, is it possible he decided to share all your partitions, on the network…no matter you are sharing them with your kids??? You have to unshare your partitions, it is not difficult at all, and you just to right click them and choose sharing option, and see what is offered. After you have finished this process on every partition you have, you can choose which folders you want to be visible on the net, and I mean, folder by folder. You can make the files be read only, which means kids won’t be able to modify them or delete them. |
