| Can Mac OS X Dashboard use Widgets? I have been a Windows user for a long period of time, and somehow got used to widgets. Now, as I have to use Mac OS on my Apple PC, I wouldn’t like to change my habits. I have heard of these applications, and I have heard it is used for hosting widgets, just wanted to make sure it is really used for these purposes. |

| Yes, this application is used for hosting those mini applications which are also known as widgets. But, I personally never use it before it seems to me it is just destroying my RAM memory and that it is useless. But if you are used to widgets, and you like using them, you can download all sorts of widgets for Dashboard, and you won’t even notice the difference. You can download widgets that are used to notify you about your email, than those that bring you news feed, weather forecast…There are of course many of those you can use just for fun.You can place widgets wherever you like on your desktop, move them around etc. |
