Hello. I have two modems attached to my computer. One of them is ordinary dial-up PCI fax modem, while the other one is hardware based ISDN. I tried to install both of them together, but it seems quite heavy. Whenever I want to connect to the internet via ISDN, the connection is impossible to be established because of modem conflict I guess. When there is only ISDN, I can surf without any problem. What am I supposed to do here? I am using dial-up modem just because of faxing options. Thanks in advance.
Hi. Why don’t you try to use some different USB port for the ISDN? Or, why don’t you try to connect the ISDN, over some other virtual COM port? I don’t know, how about changing the PCI slot place for the dial up device? And how is your dial-up wired? The line goes straight to the modem input port, or trough the ISDN terminal? It is very hard to make these two to work together.
