| Your friend obviously has some really low-cost or faulty speakers. Anyway, buying speakers is always difficult, because not everyone expects the same from speaker system. For some of us the most important is loudness, other likes quality, some likes tone colors. Buy my opinion, the most important thing about speakers is the clear sound. To achieve this, speakers should have some stronger boxes, not made of plastic. At least subwoofer should have a wooden box if you want to have a clear and strong bas. From many 2.1 speaker system I tried, I could give all credits to Altec Lansing line of speakers. Choose any one you like and you want regret it. |
