I would like to install Linux at home, and since I have a small network, I do not know whether it will be possible for me to share files with the other PCs. I am even thinking about making my wife and her brother switch to Linux too…But, is it difficult to do it? Share files, printers etc. Thanks for your help

How shall I put it…If you have some previous experience with networking, and Linux , you wont be facing too many difficulties. But, if you are a beginner, you will probably be facing many problems while installing the system, as well as while making the network function. As for sharing files, it is not difficult at all, and it offers you just as many possibilities or even more than Windows does. If you are serious with doing it all on your own, I would recommend you to download a guide for the Linux you plan to install, and follow it step by step. But you can count on trouble.
