I am thinking about raising the speed of my internet connection, but I haven’t decided yet. I would do that because of my son, who is insisting on playing some really demanding games on the internet. I am still using a dial up connection, so I think it is the high time to switch to another one.

I agree with you, but I don’t think you should do it because your son wants to play games. I mean, I find it very problematic for kids to use the internet, especially when it is not with some educative purpose. Playing games on the internet is really not a good way for them to spend their time, and plus they cannot learn nothing but violence there. Not to mention all that inappropriate content on every web page. It is terrible. On the other hand, for an adult, internet is a great place to find any needed information, and to download various content. So, switching to broadband Is always a good idea.
