| I have heard that user environments available for FreeBSD are somehow limited. I thought about trying it out maybe, few of my friends really like it, but now I am having second thoughts. Do you have any info on this, is this a common problem when you have such OS installed? I really do not know if I should install it |

| Well, you know what…There is a way you can see OS before installing it. You may try out FreeSBIE, it is the same as FreeBSD and just does not need to be installed, you just boot it from CD.So, this way you will get to see what this operative system looks like, as well as its user interface.Actually, I know that there are two user interfaces available, Gnome and KDE, same as for Linux I think. I think both od them have standardized buttons and are very easy to use, very alike Windows interface, so you will not have any problems. They are both good, as I remember, so I recommend you try it out. |
