I should have to receive some payment over the Internet. However, buyer wanted me to give him my bank details for payment. I don't know what to do? Is it safe to give bank details to buyers? I really do need to sell those goods but I don't know should I give my bank details for payment? I used my credit card only for online shopping until now.

I myself like to sell things online. And I never regret it. However, there is one major rule for online paying if you want to keep of troubles. You must do your payment only on well-known sites like eBay etc. Anything that they need from you is necessary to commit payment and you could believe them. That way your online shopping won't became nightmare. However, if your payment needs to be done from some minor online shopping site, I will think twice before I will give them my bank details. If you really need to sell those goods bad, you should think about opening a new empty account about you could get them all the details. You will transfer from that new account only the amount, which is paid. In that way you will reduce the potential damage.
