I’d like to switch from Windows to some other operative system. I think that Linux is a way above my comprehension and for some reason I believe that FBSD is just a perfect solution for me. An important detail that it is free and I can’t afford a legal copy of Windows at the moment. What can you tell me about the compatibility of this platform?

As far as hardware compatibility is concerned I think that you don’t have to worry since this operative system supports both AMD and Intel platforms. It is following all the technical advances and it is compatible with 64-bit hardware versions. So, you can check the list on their site and you will se whether you can use it on your Pc, but I really think that there is no reason why you couldn’t. As for software issues I can’t tell you precisely but I believe that the platform is customized so that it can be used with the most important software types and programs. You can also check that out on their web site. Anyway, I think that FBSD is a great solution.
