Hi friends,
I am using win xp service pack 2, since last few days it is not recognizing sound and telephony devices (after, I disabled soundman.exe from startup).
(1) i have upgraded win xp again
(2) re-installed the motherboard/internet drivers.
(3) I've reactivated soundman.exe, though it is not running on run command.
(4) i am not able to access net and hear any sound, same problem is with telephony device.
the problem is not rectified. Interestingly , everything is working fine in another XP installed on my PC (i.e everything is fine with BIOS settings).
