Hello there. I have downloaded the newer version of the iTunes for my computer. And now, when I try to connect my iPod to my computer to transfer some data, and after I tried to do something with the iPod updater, I am receiving the following message iPod Service error. The computer also told me that iTunes must be restarted in order to continue the operation, which I did. I also reinstalled the iTunes but nothing. What should I do here? Thanks.

Ok. Do a nice and clean removal of iTunes from your computer. After you did that, go to your temp folder. C:\Documents and settings\(your user account name)\Local Settings\Temp and delete all contents inside. When you did that download the latest iTunes software form the Apple web page together with the new iPod software. Before you try to install the software again, make sure that the iPod service is not still running from the previous attempts.
