| Yo! I am sick and tired of getting manual updates by my self. So is there any possible way to teach kubuntu how to do that job by it self, like automatic updates in windows? Regarding windows, I never think that Ill mention Automatic Updates in a, somehow, positive way. Thanks in advance. |

| Hi. Of course there is a way. Youll need some of cron scripts, if am not wrong. You can try to insert that script on logon, but you are also making risky job with it, if you are shutting down the computer, while there is a kernel upgrade. You need to change behavior of cron to init script. I think it is somewhere here /etc/init.d. Be careful what you do. With the automation of scripts, as I said, you can have some really bad experience if something interrupt download of case-sensitive files. |
