Hey there! I just bought a new machine, put XP on it and then decided to play some games I haven’t played for a long time. I installed Medal of Honor: Allied Assault first but when I started playing I came across a nerve-wrecking problem. My PC just froze after not more than 5 minutes of playing. And then I tried it again, and the same thing happened. What’s wrong with my PC? Or is it the game? Could it be that the game’s not compatible with XP? Any suggestions?

I had a friend with the exact same problem. He tried everything he could think of: reinstalled XP – no luck. Then removed it and put Win2000 but it also did no good. He thought it might have something to do with his graphic card and he borrowed mine to see if that helped, but it also didn’t. In the end it turned out that one of his memory sticks was faulty. It’s always the last thing on your mind. And we usually tend to blame Microsoft first.
