Hi there! I am using this Canon DV camera which has firewire connection and another one from JVC also DV. Now, the problem occurred when I wanted to transfer video onto my computer from Canon camera. Now it totally wont recognize both of these devices. I havent done anything wrong I hope so. I mean, I havent unplugged while it was attached nut I dont know what the problem here is! Please give some solution!

Hi! You couldnt do anything wrong by unplugging your device while the comp was on. This is one of the features of firewire. It could be unplugged with no problems at all. I suggest you try to re-install your drivers for your cameras. This should lead to solving this problem. Another thing is to try to use one camera and one application, meaning, maybe two cameras with different software onboard is the cause of all of this.
