I have a 16x capable DVD recorder. Now I have bought a couple 100 DVDs in a bulk – it was a one time offer, only to discover afterwards that they were marked 2x only. Well, I got into Nero, and that was it – 2x was the max option. Is there any way for me to increase this speed at least to 4x or 8x?

Well there is some software that can make this possible, that is, it can burn at any speed you define! The problem is that the results are sometimes crappy so this should be avoided however. So basically the best thing to do is to be patient while burning, or resell the disks to get some of your money back.
