I have a computer for last two years. Today my power supply breakdown. In the last two months, I loose two more power supplies on my computer. Computer specialist who repaired it told me that I should think about getting some good UPS to prevent further damage. Could anybody give me some UPS recommendation?

If you live in a building, it is very small possibility that your problem is caused by electricity problem. You may have a problem with some computer hardware or static electricity. However, getting an UPS never is a waste of money. There are, basically, two types of UPS. There are back UPS and smart UPS. Back UPS are just providing power in the case of power failure and protect the computer. Smart UPS could also, in the case of power failure, give your PC the command to save all your work and shut down regularly. When it comes to the manufacturer, there is couple of good brands on the market. The most popular one and the most expensive is definitely the APC. However, I personally have Informguard UPS, which is quite cheaper, and it serves me well.
