I have noticed cisvc.exe process in task manager. I have never heard about this process and I fear that it is some virus or spyware. I have run full scan with Norton antivirus and with Ad-Aware but they told me that everything is OK. To be sure I went on Trend Micro web site and run free online scan and it told me that everything is OK. Can you tell me what this process is and is it dangerous?

Hello. There are many viruses, spyware and other malicious software but there is no need to get paranoid. This is Microsoft process and its function is to monitor memory usage in CIDAEMON.exe. It is responsible for preventing memory becoming too low and problems that too low memory can cause. This is essential Windows process and you should not remove it or stop it.
