Hello. My Sony Vaio has 700 mhz. Intel processor with 128 mb of ram and 20 gb hard drive. My desktop computer is much stronger. I run Vista on it. Now, I need this laptop for work, and because I dont want to put Win 98 on it, not sure what to do with the drivers for it, I have decided to install Ubuntu or Xubuntu, because its just pretty and gorgeous. Will that work nice? Thanks.

You are so right with Vaio and Win 98. But regarding Linux, my suggestion for you is to put Vector Linux SOHO, or Vector Linux Standard. It is a complete distro, with everything youll ever need on a single CD, and works perfectly fast even with 32 mb of ram! With swap, of course. With Xfce or KDE in it, you can bring your old Vaio to life much, much more, than with any other Ubuntu distro. Vector Linux is a Slackware based distribution, that is completely automated. Its configuration runs through VASM, and its very easy to set up. Try it, I am amazed.
