XP not assigning drive letter

When I plug in my Kingston flash memory 1GB I don’t get the letter assigned. This same flash drive works normally on other systems. Similarly, every other usb flash drive works ok on my system! I really want to fix this, because this kingston is by far the fastest usb flash drive I have!

Unfortunately, according to your problem description it looks like there is some kind of incompatibility between you computer and your USB flash drive. If the store where you bought the flash drive is near to you, try to get another flash stick instead of this one. Maybe the other unit will work ok.
