Hi there! Not so long ago I subscribed for the cable internet. Ever since that moment, I never disconnect or turn my PC off. I’m constantly browsing the internet and downloading movies and music. But I have paid the price of my recklessness because I had a very dangerous virus. Now I’m using Windows firewall, but I can’t use P2P programs. I don’t know how to fix that problem.

Well, I’d like to tell you that only Windows firewall is not enough for protection of your PC from viruses, no matter how often you update your Windows. You should consider installing some anti-virus software. Anyway, it’s logical that you can’t properly use your P2P programs if you haven’t opened the ports on firewall so that you can access those programs. Each of those programs has a port that should be opened on firewall and when you adjust that, everything will work properly. Anyway, I also don’t recommend the use of P2P network, because some of my friends had some problems with law for downloading music and movies from the internet via P2P programs, so be careful.
