I need some help from you guys, at least few ideas. I installed Windows XP on a new laptop I bought, and it seems to me as thought my wireless is not recognized. I do not know why this happens; it simply acts as thigh it doesn’t exist at all. What shall I do? Your help is appreciated

Hey there. I have heard that installing Windows XP on a new laptops and new configurations is not a good idea at all, so I would suggest you to switch to Windows Vista. If you had installed it right away, I doubt you would be facing problems such as this one. I know that a friend of mine had very serious trouble installing Windows XP on HP Compaq 6720s.Can you imagine he had to flash the BIOS.I had the same laptop as he does, with Vista installed…functioning great too, maybe a bit slower but it is really not a big deal when I only imagine hat trouble he had to go through.
