Hey there. I am having some trouble with my computer and I thought I could use some help from you here. The trouble is that Windows Media Player won’t read any files. I tried to watch movies, listen to music…Nothing functions. Any ideas why? It really annoys me, it is the only media player I used since I started using PC and I don’t really like getting used to another one.

Well, I am not really sure why that is happening to you. Which version of Windows Media Player you use? Did you try to update it recently? And if it is the new one, did you try removing it from your system and then installing it all over again? Although it may seem a bit stupid, even funny, it is what usually helps You say it is the only media player you use… Did you try using some other players, just to check if they would play the same files/ You know, the player doesn’t have to be a problem at all, codec or bad optical devices could cause the problem also.
