| Hello there. I think you are right about having second thoughts when it comes to installing Vista on your new laptop. As I heard, it really needs a lot of RAM memory, and I am afraid that systems with 1GB of ram memory and Vista installed functions two slow for average needs. I mean, it is possible, of course, but you won’t be able to run several applications at the same time, without having difficulties. Especially when you take into consideration the fact that applications are very demanding nowadays too, so it is better to have OS that does not use that much RAM memory. My choice would be, and is Windows XP, from the same reason. |
