Hello. We all know what Java and Javascript are. There are pretty much of similarities, and people are making mistakes when naming what they saw and read about. Javascript as server side language. This sound funny because I know Javascript is one of the most powerful languages today, and I also know that it is client based language… Can this crazy language really work in both directions? Thanks in advance.

Yes it can. In the early 1996 Netscape has developed first project with Javasscript performing server side task on client request trough their Enterprise server version 2.0. That version of Javascript has got the shortcut name SSJS, or server-side javascript. And there is no doubt that there is some more powerful language other than Javascript is.
