| Who uses Voice Over Internet protocol? I am just getting familiar with some basic internet vocab, and I came across an article saying a lot about benefits of this VoIP phenomena. Now, I did not quite understand what does this refer to…I have only understood that it is a very cheap kind of telephony, and I would really like to know more about it. Many thanks |

| Hey there. VoIP is a kind of telephony that is our future! It is much cheaper than the regular telephony, because it uses a single network, which already has a capability of transmitting voice. It is cost free, when the voice transmission is done from one VoIP phone to another one…But , it is charged for when the calls are being made from VoIP phones to regular ones. The voice quality can vary, but it can be really high, so you cannot tell the difference. If you want to read about it more, you can find many articles on the net.You won’t be having problems understanding it |
