What configuration is needed for Vista? I have a bit oder configuration, with AMD processor working on 1,8 GHz and 512 mg of RAM memory. I have enough hard disk space to install it. Do you think it will work fine? I would really like to see it, I am kind of bored with this Windows XP thing.Althought I was satisfied with it, have been using it for years and now it is enough

Well, I am sorry to inform you that Vista installed on such a configuration works awfully, and you should think about buying 512 mb of RAM memory more. Vista is very demanding operative system, and honestly I am not planning to install it unless I really have to. It takes all your RAM memory, so you cannot think about starting several applications if you do not have tons of RAM memory. As for the CPU, it is not the problem, but you should upgrade your memory most definitely. And, If your PC functions well with XP , you have no reason to do it. Vista is just visually more beautiful, that is all.
