Hello. I am using Intel Celeron CPU @ 2 gigahertz with DX 9.0c graphic card and 1 gigabytes of ram. I have enough free space for Vista system files, and I believe that I got even more than system requirements even for aero. At least MS says so, but no. My PC is working like a Spectrum 48! More than 2 minutes to load the system and the sand watch mouse icon has became the most represented…. Some tweaks needed, perhaps?

In your case, definitely. You have met the system requirements, even more than that, but again, you are at the lowest border of performance for the Vista interface. Celeron with 128kb L2 Cache? Don’t expect some serious improvements even with tweaking. All you can do is to turn off all that fancy look, and leave Vista naked as Windows 2000. That’s what I would do if I am you.
