| Hi there. Since I bought Gateway notebook on which I used to work every day, there was BSoD once, but that was long time ago, still don't know why it appeared. After a while this blue screen with memory dump count, began to appear almost every day. Now it began to wrry me a lot, and all I could do is to try with recovery options in the emergency menu or whatever it is called, but no luck. The machine starts with recover procedure and hangs after a while. All I can do is to reset the machine and start over again. I can enter the safe mode, if that points on something useful. Thanks in advance. |

| Hello. There are plenty of resolved issues within this operating system with service pack 1 for Vista. When did you got the notebook? Probably you still didn't updated yet. Well, my suggestion is to do that as soon as possible. I don't know what else to say, but to back-up all of your saved work from safe mode. You will have options at least for copy/paste. Than after successful back-up of system files, recover your system with the gateway recovery CD. That just gotta work. When recover is complete, connect to MS database and update Vista completely. |
