| Hello everyone. I need some help, because I am not sure if I am able to manage what I need to myself. The thing is, I want to set up two mirroring drives in Vista, and I am not even sure if Vista supports them, and how I should handle it. I have two identical hard drives and they are connected to the motherboard via SATAII cables. What shall I do? |

| Well, if you still have not installed Operative system, and you have RAID controller card, than you do not have problem. If you have already installed Vista, the bad news is, you are going to have to do it all over again, because RAID is set up before the installation of the operative system. I guess the instructions to set up your RAI are in the motherboard manual, so I think you should check it out. But here is a short of it - First you need tos et the mode of your SATA controller to RAID, than after restart enter the RAID bios (you should check how) and then choose type of RAID you want. After this you need to create an array, and then start installing Vista. |
