Vista or XP for a home network

I recently move to a new job at the new company. We have several computers in our offices and yesterday we got a brand new Dell 1710n printer. Now we have some printing problems. We do not know how to install that printer to allow all of us to use it. I know that, on my recent job, all of us were using just two printers. Which operating system to use for the office network? Should I choose Vista or XP for a home network?

You can choose any kind of peer-to-peer network as your office network. Because of driver and software support, I will choose Windows networks. Windows XP is standard nowadays and it is very good. However, Vista's time is just started. Anyway, first check does all of your computers are connected to any kind of network. If they are, just install the printer on whatever computer you like. Then, in the Printer and Faxes section, share the printer. After that, all the other users can instantly use it. However, if your PCs are not connected in the network you could do two things. First is to connect them in the network, of course. The other solution includes buying a device called Printing switch. That is the peace of hardware equipment that aloud, automatically or manually, to more users' direct connection to the same printer. However, I would vote for networking, because it is much permanent solution.
