Hello. I have tried to upgrade my current version of Vista home to Ultimate and it all went fine, except one thing. Public folder. It is inaccessible. And I really had some files there that I need right now. I believe there is a trick to make all of this visible to me again, but how? Thanks to anyone willing to answer.

Hello. Some other files and folders as this one are being reseted during the updates, therefore putting this to quite normal. Click on start>control panel. Than double click on network and sharing center. Point your mouse arrow next to the public folder sharing button and then turn off sharing, apply. Click now the arrow button on the Public Folder Sharing, and select one of the following options. Confirm with password is needed and the problem is solved.
