Ok, this is some sort of common bug in Windows Vista, and you should try the following things. Shutdown explorer process from the task manager and than run command prompt. Type : attrib –H iconCache.db ; del IconCache.db than as the last command type start explorer. This will rebuild Icon Cache inside Vista.

Hi. I am still on XP just because many people are fighting with the same error after the installation of Vista SP1. Before that, everything is working perfectly ok, at least for me. Anyway, there is no one else to shake hand for this but Microsoft as well. Bravo, MS! You did superior job, now keep working even more harder just to fix your own mistakes. SP2 is at hand…
