I have bought Toshiba A100 laptop which came with Vista Home Basic preinstalled. I am not a heavy user of office programs but I need sometimes to make a spreadsheet or two. Before this I have used Open Office and I was very satisfied. What I would like to know is can I use OpenOffice 2.2 on Vista operating system?
Yes, you can. OpenOffice 2.2 is fully compatible with Vista operating system. In 2.2 version some cosmetic changes are added so OpenOffice now looks more "native" to Vista then it did before. Also, some improvements in reading Microsoft file formats are added. Overall, it is a good edition and you can use it without problems on Vista.
