| Hello. I want to try out this operating system, but I don’t want to get rid of all my programs and setup’s yet. I have heard that it is possible to have both of XP and Vista on the same hard drive, the so called dual –boot. So, if this combination does makes sense, I would like to know basic things that will help me to do everything best. Thanks in advance. |

| It is the same old school as it was so far, when the word is about Microsoft. The older operating system goes first. That means, if you have XP already, adding Vista should be no hard task for anyone. All you need is big hard drive enough, because system partition for Vista must be at least 20 gigabytes if you want to feel complete style. If your C: partition is filled with XP, than make another one, with partition magic, again not less than 20 gigs. Leave the blank prepared space unformatted, and let the setup do the rest. |
