I have heard something about new Vista feature called ReadyBoost and how it can drastically improve computer performance. This looks nice when advertised, but I am interested what it really works and what are real world performance gains from this ReadyBoost technology. Could you clarify these things to me? Thank you in advance for your prompt reply.

ReadyBoost has shown some really impressive performance gains on low memory systems, while it usage becomes more questionable with more and more RAM. If you have 2GB or more RAM then performance gains will not be significant. ReadyBoost helps slow hard drives by caching some data on USB 2.0 flash drives which can significantly improve seek time and application launch times.
